A Note on Terminology

As suggested by Daniel Williams in Defenders of the Unborn, throughout this exhibit we refer to the movement that is opposed to abortion as pro-life and pro-lifers. We do this because these are the terms these groups use to describe themselves and that they feel are most representatives of their movements. However, when describing the violence and murder perpetrated by individuals against abortion, we use the label anti-abortion to highlight that these individuals are not protecting any life.
