The Army of God
The Army of God was formed in 1982 and has been involved in anti-abortion crimes such as kidnappings, bombings, and murders. The organization has been classified by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Christian terrorist organization due to members’ involvement in anti-abortion violence. A how-to guide, “The Army of God Manual”, was found in 1993 in the possession of Shelly Shannon, who attempted to murder abortion provider George Tiller. The manual outlines the ideological pillars of the organization and instructs the reader on how to commit arson, chemical attacks, bombings, and more. AOG has claimed credit for the murders committed by both Paul Hill and Michael Griffin and outwardly supports their action on the AOG website.
Note: We do not recommend it, but if you do decide to venture onto the AOG website, please be warned of extremely graphic material and violent language.
