Operations Team
The Operations Team (or "OPS Team") meets weekly during the academic year to exchange information across administrative divisions. Notes are shared weekly via email to all staff (these are a must-read!).
The OPS Team originated in 2018. Currently, Lisa Forrest and Brent Maher attend on behalf of the academic affairs division each week. Updates to share are collected from team leaders each week.
The cross-campus group exists to:
Exchange information between divisions/departments on what's going on in those respective areas to those in attendance and through sharing of the OPS Team notes to college professional staff.
First point of review for new or updated College policies (before those policies are sent to College senior leadership for approval).
Open forum for discussion topics.
As noted above, a key reason for this meeting's existence is to ensure that College staff know what's going on across departments and divisions. The OPS Team notes are shared by Brent Maher each week. All library staff are expected to read the notes each week, ask questions, and make use this information as needed in their roles.
