Our staff room

Everyone who works in the library building has access to our staff room, located on the 2nd floor (near the Rare Book Room). In this space, you will find a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and filtered hot/cold water dispenser, along with various utensils and dishes.

We encourage you to use this space during your breaks and just ask that you follow some basic housekeeping rules:

1. If you use utensils or dishes, please wash with hot soapy water, dry, and return to where you found them.

2. Please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink!

3. When using the microwave, cover your food with a paper towel to avoid splatters and wipe down any spills.

4. Wipe any spills or crumbs off of the tables after you are done eating.

5. Please do not leave food in the refrigerator overnight. 

6. If you see ants please let the Operations team know ASAP!
