Library Spaces

First floor:

• Scholars' Studio: find support you need for research and digital media projects; consultation space with digital screen available

• Study rooms (reservable though this link)

• Printers, scanners, DVD drives, and loanable laptops

• Self check-out machine (your CatCard is your library card)

• Books - browsing collection and reference 

• Noise level: this is the collaboration floor of the library (and the loudest!)

Ground floor/basement:

• Study rooms (first-come, first-serve)

• Books - both oversize and main stacks

• Microfilm readers 

• Bound periodicals (most of our journal articles are accessible online, but the ones we still have in print live here)

• Noise level: this is the quietest floor of the library, and those who study down here appreciate a noise-free environment

Second floor: 

• Davidsoniana Room and Rare Book Room 

• Books - main stacks and reference

• Government documents

• The Nest (relaxation room) 

• Noise level: Somewhere in-between first floor and basement levels; quiet conversations are the norm
