Theseus

Theseus was a great hero in Attic legend, who was the son of Aegeus, the king of Athens. The legend relays that when he reached manhood, his mother Aethra sent him to Athens, and on the journey he encountered many adventures and violently kills individuals who murdered others in disturbing manners.

Theseus is comparatively different from the other individuals the creature had previously admired, and in addition to Romulus is one of the two he most prefers. It is possible the creature is drawn to Theseus's feat for revenge against the people who commit wrongs within society.
