I am currently undecided but I'm leaning towards becoming a political science major with a focus on United States National Politics. Previously I have served as president of the Minority Scholars program a student lead initiative aimed towards closing the achievement and opportunity gap in the public school system. In my position as president, I was able to put on cultural events for students, college information sessions and develop a tutoring program for first time AP students to adjust to the new course load and provide support. I have a passion for accessibility in all areas of life but especially with education which is why this project is so exciting and I am proud to be apart of it.
