\nThe Rev. Stephen Frontis was appointed a Trustee of Davidson College, in the place of the Rev. John Williamson deceased.
\nA communication from the Board of Trustees of Davidson College was presented to the Presbytery, proposing that the President of the College be ex-officio a member of the Board. It was resolved, that this proposition be over for consideration, according to the Constitution of the College.<\/p>\n

[p. 234]
\nResolved, that Presbytery approve of the overture made to Synod by the Rev. John Witherspoon, D. D. respecting Davidson College; the object of which is to enlist the whole Synod in the support of that Institution.<\/p>\n
