Whether it was meeting with the DCI Fellows, working on deliberation and pathways guides, planning the logistics of upcoming events and programs, or serving as the moderator of our AI Deliberative Forum, Dr. Copic helped the DCI expand its impact significantly in the 2023-24 academic year. Her recent departure from Davidson is therefore bitter-sweet \u2013 we are excited for her as she takes on a new opportunity but are sad that it will take her away from us.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the importance of Dr. Copic&#8217;s contributions, we have initiated a search for a new <strong>Assistant Director of the DCI<\/strong>. Priority review of applications will begin on\u00a0<strong>June 3, 2024,\u00a0<\/strong>and will continue until the position is filled.
