{"id":430,"date":"2020-06-10T04:31:01","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T04:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dci.redbrickroad.net\/?page_id=430"},"modified":"2022-07-11T15:39:20","modified_gmt":"2022-07-11T15:39:20","slug":"efforts-elsewhere","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/deliberativecitizenship.org\/efforts-elsewhere\/","title":{"rendered":"Efforts Elsewhere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are many, many efforts across the county and around the world that are promoting more democratic deliberation.\u00a0 These include initiatives that have been going on for decades, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nifi.org\/\">National Issues Forums<\/a> that are sponsored by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kettering.org\/\">Kettering Foundation<\/a>.\u00a0 They also include initiatives that have been launched more recently, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgealliance.us\/\">Bridge Alliance<\/a>.\u00a0 The <a href=\"http:\/\/ncdd.org\/\">National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation<\/a> is \u00a0a &#8220;network of over 700 individuals and organizations helping communities of all sorts have more productive conversations on what matters most,&#8221; and its website provides a <a href=\"http:\/\/ncdd.org\/rc\/\">useful hub of information<\/a> about these diverse efforts and their different approaches.\u00a0 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deliberativepedagogy.org\/\">Deliberative Pedagogy Lab<\/a> introduces a range of resources on introducing more deliberation into the classroom.
