On Thursday, October 19, the DCI hosted its 9th public Deliberative Forum, The Challenge for Democracy: To What Extent Should the U.S. and Other Democratic Nations Defend and Promote Democracy Around the World?<\/em> <\/a> For this event, we partnered with Davidson\u2019s own Political Science Department and featured speakers with different global areas of specialization. Professors Bes Ceka, Shelley Rigger, and Ken Menkhaus <\/strong>presented their own views about democracy promotion and defense and focused on Europe, Asia, and Africa (respectively).
