Useful subject headings

When searching for books and other materials in a catalog, try searching by keyword, author, or title. You may also search by Library of Congress subject headings. To locate appropriate subject headings, do a keyword search and then browse records. To search by subject heading, do an advanced search in the Davidson Library Catalog, and choose "Subject" in the dropdown menu. Helpful subject headings include:
