Shared Stories is a collection of photographs, oral histories, and records documenting the lives and contributions of African-Americans in the greater Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville, NC area. Many individuals interviewed as part of this project attended local schools, like Ada Jenkins/Davidson Colored School and Torrence-Lytle High School, and reflect upon their experiences at these institutions.

There are also oral history tapes related to college and town history.
